How a one feels when he/she didn’t get any respect in the society. What happens if society didn’t consider you human? What happens when you didn’t get any reputed job in the society? Yes, this is happening with transgenders from a long time. They even don’t know what is normal life because everyone in the society rejects them and they feel disappointment. They are disposed from the vital roles such as self-esteem, dignity and mainly sense of being.
Akhuwat foundation initiated the Khawaja Sira support program in 2011 and their main focus is not to re-establish their culture or tradition but to restore their value in the society and their presence, that they are not Khawaja Sira by choice. However, Akhuwat foundation is not reforming their identity but they help them in uplifting and implementing such activities and efforts that will give them income and a reputable position in the society. After 2011, when Khawaja Sira seen that someone is working for their wellbeing, they feel themselves secure and satisfied that someone is working for them.
